Choosing a Print Method for Your T-Shirts
You do not need to choose a print method before requesting a quote. We review the design, garment, quantity and finish you want, then recommend a suitable setup.
DTF Printing on T-Shirts
DTF is an option for full-colour artwork, gradients and designs used across suitable garment styles.
The artwork is printed onto film and applied to the shirt. Fabric compatibility, print area and the feel of a larger print still need to be considered.
Screen Printing
Screen printing is worth comparing for a repeated design across a larger run.
Colour separations and setup affect the quote, so the economical choice depends on the actual artwork and quantity rather than a universal order-size rule.

Artwork and Print Placement
A left-chest logo, a large front graphic and a back print serve different purposes. Tell us what should be visible and where each design belongs. If you want both sides or a sleeve print, include every location in the first request.
Keep smaller garments in mind when planning a shared design. Ask how the proposed print dimensions will work across the size range instead of assuming one large print fits every shirt.
Send the editable logo or original artwork where possible. A suitable full-size image can work for photographic or detailed designs; a screenshot or a PDF containing a tiny image may need further work. Our vector versus PNG guide explains which original to send.
If you are deciding between chest, back and sleeve layouts, use the T-shirt print placement and size guide, then include your intended locations and approximate dimensions.
Check the proof before production: logo version, spelling, front and back artwork, garment colour, position and stated print dimensions. A digital proof shows the proposed layout; it does not reproduce the fabric feel or guarantee identical colour on every screen.

Vancouver Pickup and Order Delivery
Firebird Prints is at 19 Victoria Dr, Lower Level Unit, Vancouver, BC V5L 4C1. Arrange pickup after the order is confirmed ready, or include the destination in your request so delivery timing and costs can be reviewed.
We work with customers in Vancouver and across Metro Vancouver, including Burnaby, Richmond and North Vancouver. For shipping elsewhere in Canada, provide the destination and required in-hand date so production and transit can be planned together.

Is there a minimum order for custom T-shirts?
Standard custom T-shirt orders start at 6 pieces. If you need 1 to 5, use the MOJO small-order collection to review the available styles and request the appropriate quote.
How much does custom T-shirt printing cost?
The garment, quantity by size, design, print method, artwork preparation and print locations affect the quote. Ask for the exact specification and total, including any delivery or additional requirements, so you can compare like with like.
Can I print on both the front and back?
Request both locations when you send the design. Each position needs its own artwork and layout review and affects the price and production setup. Include sleeve prints, individual names or other variations at the same time so feasibility can be checked.
Do I have to choose DTF or screen printing myself?
No. Send the artwork, quantity, garment preference and the finish you want. We can compare suitable options for the actual job. Ready-to-press transfer film is a separate product if you plan to do the application yourself.
Can I ask for a quote before my artwork is finished?
Yes. Send the best original or reference you have and explain what is unfinished. The team can identify what is needed to prepare the job; artwork work, pricing and timing must be reviewed before the production details are confirmed.
How long will my T-shirt order take?
The date depends on garment availability, artwork and proof approval, the print setup and the production schedule. Give the date you need the finished shirts in hand. For an urgent deadline, use our same-day T-shirt printing service to check current eligibility and pickup requirements.
Can I mix sizes, fits or garment colours in one request?
List each style, fit, colour and quantity by size separately. Different garments or colours can change the print setup or availability, so include the complete mix before the quote is confirmed.
Can I reorder the same design later?
Include the previous order reference, approved artwork and the new size list. We will review the current garment, print requirements, pricing and timing. Do not assume the same colour, stock or previous price will still be available.
