Custom Trade Show Booths for Exhibitions, Expos, and Brand Activations
Firebird Prints designs and produces custom trade show booths in Vancouver for brands that need more than a portable display kit. We handle booth design, branded structure, printed graphics, and the display elements that go with them, for shows across British Columbia, Canada, and select U.S. cities.
A custom booth is your brand environment on the show floor. It should pull people in from the aisle, guide them through the space, and give your team a professional setting for real conversations.
What Makes a Trade Show Booth Truly Custom
A custom trade show booth is planned from the ground up around your brand, your footprint, and your goals for the show. Unlike a standard kit, you control the structure, the layout, the materials, and the way visitors move through the space.
A custom booth can include:
- branded booth walls and structural features
- reception counters, podiums, and demo zones
- product shelving and display surfaces
- large format graphics and printed panels
- lighting features and visual focal points
- hidden storage and staff areas
- modular sections you can reuse at the next show
Designed Around Your Booth Size and Layout
Booth dimensions, ceiling height, entry points, sightlines, and venue rules all change what works. We plan custom booths for 10×10 and 10×20 spaces as well as larger 20×20, peninsula, and island footprints, so the layout supports visibility, movement, and product display instead of fighting them.
Working with a smaller footprint? Compare 10×10 and 10×20 booth layout ideas before you lock in a design.
Booth Graphics Planned With the Structure
Graphics should be part of the booth, not something added at the end. We produce printed panels, branded walls, counter wraps, and display surfaces that are sized to the structure, so edges line up and the booth reads as one piece from every angle.
This is also where most booths win or lose attention. Clean hierarchy, one clear message, and print quality that holds up under bright hall lighting.
Built to Travel and Be Reused
Most custom booths go to more than one show, so material choice matters. Depending on the project we use rigid panels, tension fabric graphics, and aluminum framing selected for transport, repeat setup, and storage between events.
Modular sections keep the booth flexible when your footprint changes, while the parts that carry your brand stay fully custom.
Custom Booth Production in Vancouver
We are based in East Vancouver and work with exhibitors showing at the Vancouver Convention Centre, BC Place, the PNE, Tradex in Abbotsford, and Anvil Centre in New Westminster, along with events across Metro Vancouver and the rest of Canada.
A local team makes artwork review, revisions, proofing, and pickup or shipping coordination much easier when the show date is close.
Booth Elements We Produce
A custom booth is usually built alongside supporting pieces. We produce counters and podiums, custom backdrops, tension fabric displays, pop up display kits, backlit displays, and printed tablecloths that match the booth graphics.

How a Custom Booth Project Works
1. Share your event details
Event date, venue, booth size, brand goals, and any design references you already have.
2. Plan the booth concept
We map layout, visitor flow, counters, storage, product display, and the main visual focal point.
3. Confirm design and graphics
Structure, print files, panel sizes, and finishes are reviewed and approved before anything is built.
4. Production
Booth components, printed graphics, and display elements are produced and checked.
5. Pickup, delivery, or shipping
We coordinate the finished booth around your setup window and venue schedule.

Custom Trade Show Booth FAQ
What is the difference between a custom booth and a display kit?
A display kit follows a fixed structure. A custom booth is planned around your footprint, brand, and visitor flow, so you control layout, materials, graphics, and how the space actually functions.
How early should I start planning?
As early as your event schedule allows. Custom booths involve concept work, design revisions, graphic production, and fabrication, so an early start gives you room for changes.
Can I reuse a custom booth at other shows?
Yes. Most of our booths are built with repeat use in mind, and modular sections can be adapted when your booth size changes from one show to the next.
What booth sizes do you work with?
From 10×10 and 10×20 inline spaces through to larger corner, peninsula, and island footprints.
Do you produce the graphics as well as the structure?
Yes. Printed wall panels, counter wraps, fabric graphics, and display surfaces are produced in house and planned to fit the booth structure.
Do you only serve Vancouver?
Our head office and design team are in Vancouver, and we support exhibitors across British Columbia, the rest of Canada, and select U.S. cities through our production network.
Send your event date, booth size, location, design goals, graphics needs, and timeline. We’ll review the details and recommend the right booth setup.
